It's so breathtaking to be able to capture an amazing moment in time with a single image, especially when it's someone's wedding day! Alyssa and Joe are such an amazing couple, and it was such an honor to capture that moment in time through their wedding photography. We started the day at their farm house in New Richmond, Wisconsin, where Joe was getting ready for the big day. All of his buds were there, yelling out jokes from the other room while they munched on Subway sandwiches, and cheered for their favorite team. The weather was beautiful, slightly overcast but warm! We ventured to the beautiful home where Alyssa was surrounded by her sisters, friends, grandma, and mom. There's no better circle to be surrounded by on your wedding day! You could tell all of these people cherished her greatly, and were so happy to be a part of this wonderful step in her life! Alyssa slipped on her white gown, motioning for her grandma to come over to look at the little blue heart sewn into her dress. Something blue, something very special of her grandparents which would be close to her on her wedding day. She donned her leather cowboy boots and was ready to go!
Being a traditional wedding, Alyssa waited patiently in the back room of the church, waiting for some one to tell her when the ceremony would start! She read a letter Joe had written her, and it only made her more ready to marry the love of her life! Soon it began, and the look on Joe's face as Alyssa walked down the aisle was one to remember! He couldn't have looked happier! The wedding ceremony took place outside of the church in New Richmond, Wisconsin, surrounded by the summer blooms, and their friends Alyssa and Joe were married!
After the ceremony, the reception party began at Alyssa and Joe's own farm! They had completely re-designed their barn for this occasion, and it was stunning! Chandeliers hung from the rafters, fresh flowers spotted the tables, and the farmers enjoyed the cartons of milk! The surroundings were truly fabulous, Alyssa and Joe had outdone themselves! The area was surrounded by fields, and you could see Joe look over once and a while to admire his handiwork of planting perfectly straight lines. While everyone enjoyed either the Spotted Cow or Apothic Red, we took Alyssa and Joe out to capture some beautiful wedding photography in their own backyard! The trees in the distance were just starting to turn into their autumn colors, and the fiery golden orange sunset bathed the fields in a warm glow! The meal was soon served, with the fabulous cooking of River Valley Catering, everyone was completely satisfied! The speeches were given, and the dance soon began. Alyssa and Joe spun across the barn boards, underneath the twinkling string lights and chandeliers. You could hear the cows mooing outside, the moon was rising, and everyone was soon on the dance floor. What an amazing night! ~ Natalee
