There's no better place for a beautiful summer country wedding than at the Enchanted Barn in beautiful Hillsdale, Wisconsin! Beau and I first pulled up to the Bride and Groom's lodgings, where all of the family and the groom were getting ready for the big day! Everyone was bustling with activity in this adorable house re-done by the owner of the Enchanted Barn. David donned his tux, with a backdrop of rustic barn board no doubt pulled from one of the ancient farm buildings that used to reside on the property. He was quickly dressed, so we made our way to the Bridal Suite that was secretly nestled in one of the buildings next to the Enchanted Barn. When we entered the room it was a flurry of lace and ladies getting their hair done! Carissta looked beautiful, surrounded by her girlfriends, she was ready for her big day! The girls left for a quiet moment while our blushing bride climbed into her white dress, now she was truly ready for her wedding day!
The Enchanted Barn is a beautiful building, surrounded by pink and orange blooms, horses lazily grazing in fields, and patio tables and umbrellas that gave it a unique Parisian bistro feel! Our first moment for Carissta and David happened among the beautiful summer flowers, Carissta waited along the winding path for David to show. He came around the corner, and smiles between these two love-birds was irresistible! They shared a hug, a kiss, and a few whispered words, and were ready to spend the day together! From there the whole jolly wedding party climbed aboard an old Winnebego camper, and travelled down the road to Dallas, Wisconsin where we stumbled upon a hole-in-the-wall bar, that ended up being the perfect place to share some laughs before the ceremony!  If you ever find yourself in Dallas, Wisconsin, we truly recommend the Valkyrie Brewing Company Bar, the beer tastes great, and the surroundings are definitely one of a kind! We took to the streets for a couple of fun wedding party shots, then all crowded aboard the camper to head back to the Enchanted Barn for the ceremony!
The ceremony was atop a hill, over-looking the barn itself, the grazing horses, and endless forests and fields of beautiful rural Wiconsin. The weather was warm, and the sun was shining, a perfect summer day for a wedding! The bridal party was lined up along a path that led up the hill, hidden from the eyes of the audience by trees and tall grass. The bride looked beautiful in her white dress under the shade of the blooming apple tree, with her cathedral veil spread elegantly spread out behind her. The procession started, and soon the flower girls dressed in their puffy chiffon dresses led Carissta out, who walked down the grass aisle accompanied by the soft strumming of a harp. Soon David and Carissta were married, and sealed the deal with a kiss!
Now the party was about to begin, everyone ventured back down to the barn for some DELICIOUS appetizers while they waited for the food to be served. The barn was a vision, with twinkling lights, candles, and adorable Pinterest ideas everywhere! Everyone seemed happy as they munched on their food, drinks in hand, enjoying the lovely summer weather! Soon everyone was seated, and the food was served, Brady's Brewhouse doing an amazing job, as always. The speeches were given, and soon the dance was started! Carissta and David shared their first dance as husband and wife under the soft candlelight. Afterwards the bass was turned up, and everyone crowded the dance floor! This day was such a blast with this amazing couple, we wish you all the happiness in the world! ~ Natalee
