Hello!! We are Beau and Bethany, a husband and wife team and we love to capture photography and video for destination weddings!! We were honored to be a part of Meghan and Mark’s destination wedding in Dominican Republic! This beautiful couple chose the Melia Tropical in Punta Cana Dominican Republic for their destination wedding resort. It was so fun to be on the same flight with Meghan and Mark, they were upgrades to First Class by Mark’s Delta flight attendant sister!! We love that Delta has a direct flight from Minneapolis to Punta Cana. Then the resort was a short bus ride from the airport. Bavaria Beach in Punta Cana is so beautiful with bright turquoise ocean and white sand and tall palms dotting the coast. The Melia Tropical was a fun resort to spend time with these friends. On the wedding day it was a perfect sunrise! We took our drone out to capture some views!

Mark had a breakfast with his groomsmen and a drink by the pool. Meghan was getting ready in her suite with her bridesmaids. Meghan is a stunning bride! She shared a first moment with her dad… then she had her first look with her groom to be. We jumped onto a golf cart with them and has lots of time to do a beautiful photo shoot with them before the ceremony. The ceremony was in a gazebo on the beach… it was a perfect setting for their ceremony. The resort set up a cocktail hour next to the gazebo to enjoy the celebration after they said “I Do”! Beau photographed the entire group on the beach after the ceremony. It is always special to get a full group shot of all of the guests that travel for the wedding.

The reception was in our favorite space on the resort, the beachfront thatched roof restaurant. The Bride and Groom and their guests enjoyed a beachfront wedding reception. We were served drinks and a delicious dinner… there was a big wedding cake and a DJ for the dance too! This group loved to dance!! It was such a fun reception. It was a hot evening so they had the idea of jumping into the pool after… the whole wedding party jumped into the pool to cool off. These are memories that they will never forget!! Destination weddings are such a fabulous way to celebrate a marriage!! Beau and I are now travel agents and we would love to help your group plan a destination wedding!!
