There's no better wedding than one full of sailors!
Liz and Chris are an adorable couple, you could see throughout this wonderful day that they are so in love! It was such a privilege to capture this day. We started by heading to the Metropolis Resort in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, not to ride on any of the water-slides, but to photograph our couple getting ready for their wedding day! That is a great hotel, with lots of rooms, and is right next to their beautiful reception location! We walked into the room where the girls were drinking mimosas and mini champagne bottles! Clad in their eggplant purple bathrobes, the bride wearing white, they were ready to party! We left them laughing, and journeyed to the boys room across the hall...the boys were eating, laughing, and making jokes just like boys should! We photographed Chris, he was finally ready to have his first moment with his bride! Before this couple spent their first moment together, Liz had to get in her wedding dress! Our beautiful bride climbed into her white, flowing dress, she looked magnificent! Liz was surprised with a gift and letter from her groom, which she opened to find a beautiful bracelet of pearls! Now that they were both ready, Liz and Chris travelled to their beautiful ceremony and reception location the Florian Gardens. Liz stood in the beautiful gardens, surrounded by trees covered in orange fruit, and willow trees. Chris came outside, and was greeted with the beautiful view of her bride-to-be! They hugged, laughed, and were ready for their ceremony. The white chairs were set up in the garden, leading towards a beautiful wooden gazebo. The ceremony ended with vows and a kiss, now everyone was ready to party! They all entered to find the dining/ dance room transformed! The tables were set with beautiful white tablecloths, and fresh purple flowers. Cupcakes were set in a pyramid, and the food smelled amazing! We all sat, and listened to some of the funniest and heartfelt speeches I've heard all year! Dinner was served, a delicious meal of pasta! Everyone was enjoying themselves, and soon the dance started. Liz and Chris spun around the dance floor, spending their first wonderful dance as husband and wife. This was such an enjoyable, beautiful evening, we're so glad we got to spend the day with Liz and Chris! ~ Natalee
