What a destination wedding adventure with Tony and Melissa! Being close friends with them for years, we are so happy that they had us capture their wedding photography and video. Beau went with the guys to Top Golf in Minneapoilis before taking off the next morning on a flight to Miami. It was so surreal to be a part of Tony and Melissa’s destination wedding aboard the Norwegian Escape Cruise Ship! The trip was so much fun and they did everything to make their guests happy. They had 52 guests for their destination wedding!! We departed from the Port of Miami on January 4th, 2020. Tony and Melissa had reservations for us all at the Manhattan Room for the rehearsal dinner. The celebration started there and went on for the entire week. The wedding was the first day at sea, January 5th… and everything was so perfect for their wedding day! Tony and Melissa got ready in separate balcony staterooms, there was plenty of space to capture these intimate moments. Tony had his first look of his bride in her gorgeous dress on their private balcony.

The ceremony was in the Manhattan Room, it was set up as a beautiful private event! It was so emotional seeing Melissa walk down the aisle to the song “Sweet Melissa” by the Allman Brothers. The ceremony officiant was their good friend and there were readings given by Melissa’s mom. It was a beautiful ceremony followed by a cocktail hour in a reserved bar with plenty of yummy drinks and eats served. Tony surprised Melissa with a custom photobooth! The Vikings football game was playing and Tony was so happy when the Vikings won againts the Saints... he leaped over a table!! The Vikings win added to the fun of the day! We loved the speeches full of humor and the first dance that the couple shared, they were so happy… they even packed the dance floor with their friends and family too! Tony's fellow Hudson Wisconsin DJ friend (Day One DJ) announced the fisrt dance and he was happy to be along for the trip to celebrate with Tony and Melissa! After all that, we enjoyed dinner together in a private space on the ship at Taste Restaurant. Dinner was served and Tony and Melissa cut their cake. The party wasn’t over, they progressed through the ship to various bars with their friends and family. Everyone was so happy for Tony and Melissa!

This ship "The Escape" was very beautiful and the food was excellent! I love that they included the beverage package with the balcony stateroom. The private stateroom balcony was a wonderful escape from the crowded pool deck. The balcony stateroom was a great size for our family of four. We enjoyed a stop at the private island Harvest Caye, and that was our favorite day! It was so relaxing there and less crowded than other ports. We also stopped at Costa Maya, Roatan, and Cozumel. The day at Cozumel was super fun! We had a line-up of rental cars to go explore the East side of the island! We loved the East side of Cozumel! The last day at sea Tony and Melissa had a bon voyage champagne party with the wedding group. We ended with a few photos on the promenade deck on the back of the ship at sunset. It was really hard to say goodbye to a wonderful trip with Tony and Melissa!! Thank you for being great friends throughout the years, we have enjoyed working with Tony (Showtime Entertainment) at many weddings! We are so happy for Tony and Melissa!! ~Bethany
