Jessica and Mickey were married on May 19th 2018. We enjoyed spending the weekend with them in Madison, Wisconsin. Their rehearsal dinner was at the Essen Haus, Madison. It was a festive evening with German beer and food, the guests even enjoyed a boot of beer! The next morning Jess and Mickey got ready at the home of Jessica’s parents on a lovely golf course. It was a beautiful spring day, the trees were blossoming in full bloom. Jessica is the director of the tv program “Discover Wisconsin” our nations longest running tourism show. Of course their videographer for the wedding day is also the videographer for "Discover Wisconsin” and he was super fun to work with! Jess and Mickey enjoyed their first look in the back yard with a view of the golf course and with their wedding party onlooking. We headed to Memorial Union Terrace on the University of Wisconsin Madison Campus for a few beers with the wedding party. It was so lively and beautiful at the terrace overlooking Lake Mendota. Then we were off to the Elks Lodge, the waterfront venue on Lake Monona. The ceremony was on the green lawn overlooking the lake. The reception was in the ballroom with a lake view and many guests enjoyed lawn games and walking the docks to enjoy the lake on this beautiful day. We loved that their guest party favors were wildflower seeds and honey sticks. After dinner and speeches, they danced the night away. The dance floor was packed! What a super fun wedding and it was so cool that so many friends and family came from all around, from Texas, Alaska and all the way from Italy to join in the celebration of Jessica and Mickey’s wedding!! ~Bethany
