There is nothing more fun than traveling across the U.S. for a beautiful wedding! Beau Petersen grew up with Jeremiah, and the family has been very close to the Petersen's for years. You can image how excited Beau was when Jeremiah and Kelci contacted him to capture their wedding photography! So on a beautiful autumn day in October Beau and fellow photographer Trine Bell ventured to Connecticut for their wedding. They attended a rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding day, at a cute home in Connecticut on the border of upstate New York. It was so fun to see the whole family enjoying themselves before the big day! What a wonderful time to enjoy the company of your family and closest friends!
The wedding day started beautifully, the vibrant autumn colors shrouded in a thin mist that lifted as the day continued. The winding Connecticut roads led Beau and Trine to the locations where the bride and groom were getting ready. Jeremiah was soon donning his wedding suit, a beaming smile on his face, he was so excited for this day! They walked into Kelci's room at the Three Oaks of Capalleros reception venue, her stunning red hair was up in curlers, and soon she was in her tulle princess-cut gown. She looked so beautiful! The venue, the Three Oaks of Capalleros, was an hour and a half outside of New York City, perfectly situated in the beautiful woods of Connecticut. From this reception venue where they got ready, Kelci and Jeremiah enjoyed their first moment, seeing each other for the first time on this special day. Now ready for the ceremony, they travelled to the Kingdom Hall, where the ceremony soon started. They sealed the deal with a kiss, everyone was overjoyed! You can tell this family is so close, and loving, it was so wonderful to capture all the memories of the moment.
The ceremony ended around 12pm on this Wednesday wedding, and then the wedding party ventured to a beautiful park where Beau captured hilarious images of the wedding party, and adorable images of the bride and groom! All the guests had gone to the Three Oaks of Capalleros for a lovely brunch style meal! Afterwards they enjoyed a dance, Jeremiah and Kelci swirled across the dance floor under the twinkling string lights and chinese lanterns. This wonderful mid-day reception ended around 5pm. Everyone then went out for a drink, Beau enjoying the company of his closest friends before the bride and groom took their leave. This was such a lovely, unique wedding, and Beau was so happy he could have been a part of it! We wish Jeremiah and Kelci all the happiness in the world! ~ Natalee
