To the deep South we go! Where the smell of hot Gumbo and the glory of Saints football fill the air. Southern lifestyle, traditions and dialect are a lot different than what we are used to up North in Wisconsin... to our surprise, we were soon to find out how different a wedding day is also in the South.  Beau and I flew down to New Orleans and drove over the swamp land to Houma Louisiana where our good friends Kirk & Tammy Voclain reside. We were completely honored that our fellow inspirational photographer Kirk Voclain asked us to photograph his daughters wedding!  It was a total blast to be a part of the celebration and spending time with our friends for a few days.  Beau wanted to get to know Scarlett & Seth behind the camera, to get acquainted with how they react with him. After already having an engagement session with Kirk and then Wedding Formals with Kevin Jairaj, Scarlett and Seth have had enough photography... Plus Scarlett has been photographed her entire life being the daughter of Kirk Voclain... So this was challenge #1 for Beau... Getting a couple to react with enthusiasm and love for a quick portrait session... Plus they only wanted to wear their Saints jerseys for the entire session... Being a Vikings fan, this was not Beau's favorite attire to photograph!  Anyways, this was a beautiful day in Louisiana and it is always a pleasure for Beau to photograph in new destinations... this makes for the best experience. Scarlett and Seth were amazing! We are looking forward to posting their wedding next... ~Bethany
