Yay for Alesis and Jonny! What a fabulous wedding at the new barn venue "Ivory North" in Mora, MN. This location has it all and we were honored to be a part of this beautiful wedding. Beau photographed Alesis' parents wedding 22 years ago and it was so cool to capture their daughters wedding 22 years later. It was a perfect spring day in May, the weather was warm and the barn stayed cool. There were separate areas for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready. This venue even has a modern honeymoon house for the bride and groom! Alesis put on her dress in the honeymoon house, she looked stunning! The luscious bouquets and flowers were created by Shara's Floral Designs, Alesis was so happy with how they turned out. The bride shared a special moment with her parents. After a sweet first look for Jonny and Alesis we ventured off to Ann River Winery. The winery was a great place to enjoy refreshments with the bridal party. The ceremony was in the white barn at Ivory North. This venue is so perfect, we love the light in the barn, it is so photogenic. Alesis' grandfather gave the wedding talk. After they said their vows and kissed they went outside and hugged their wedding party and family. The cocktail hour was super fun, there were lawn games and I love that they included the kids, even our own kids enjoyed this wedding so much. The dinner was in the pavilion, eucalyptus lined the tables, it was so modern and elegant. For dinner, guests enjoyed a yummy salad and pasta buffet catered by Black Woods. They gave gift bags to all the kids and there was cake and cake-pops for dessert. The dance was in the barn, where the newlyweds shared their first dance. The DJ was Tony with Showtime Entertainment, and the dance floor was packed all night! For the anniversary dance, the longest married happened to be Alesis' grandparents at 44 years, and they share the same anniversary date as Alesis and Jonny! The photo-booth and the big bon fire outside were a fun addition to this wedding for the evening, they even brought out cookies and milk for a late night snack.
