We love the Northern Wisconsin Winter Wonderland! What a perfect time for a wedding in the snow! That is just what Kara and Austin wanted, they even had fresh snowfall on their February wedding day!  The wedding and reception was in the small Wisconsin town of Shell Lake.  We drive through Shell Lake many times on our way up to Hayward, but we haven't spent much time there, so it is always fun to photograph in a new area.  A Winter wedding is a wonderful idea for those of us in Wisconsin and Minnesota, it is not a busy time of year for all of your guests and it is a wonderful time to go on a warm destination honeymoon!  If you are planning a destination wedding for the WInter of 2015, let us know… we only want to photograph two destination weddings each year because they are a big event that we take a lot of time and attention on… we do have availability for a destination wedding for 2015! So, weather local Winter wedding or a destination wedding, February is a great month to have a wedding!! ~Bethany
