Justina and Travis were married in MAUI !!!!  We are so happy for J&T because they will always have the memories of their fabulous Hawaiian Destination Wedding. When Justina contacted us about her destination wedding plans we were stoked!!! Maui is the most beautiful place for a wedding, we have enjoyed the island 5 years ago and we were so happy to return. Many people ask us if we charge a fee for destination weddings and we say, NO! We just charge our regular pricing and we take care of our own travel arrangements. It is such a treat for us to be a part of a destination wedding and we want to make it simple as possible for our couples.  Travis’s sister Michelle is a travel agent and she did an amazing job coordinating this group for travel in February to Maui. If you are planning a destination wedding please contact her!! Most of the friends stayed at the Westin Kaanapali Villas along with the bride and groom. Beau and I stayed at the Kapalua Villas, we loved it there the first trip and wanted to return.

The Groom got ready at the Westin Villas and shared a first moment with his mom and dad. The Bride had a Suite in the Westin Villas full of family and close friends! Justina put on her wedding dress and looked stunning!! She shared a first moment with her dad and mom… Then Beau set her up in a quiet path on the Westin grounds to share a first look with her Groom. They were so happy all day!! It was perfect weather for a beachfront wedding. The wedding was planned for Monday, but we all agreed that the weather forecast was no good, so they bumped the day up to “Super Bowl Sunday” to avoid the inevitable rain forecast for Monday. This worked out great!! We were all flexible for the change, it was truly a beautiful day!!

The group set off for Merriman’s on Kapalua Beach for drinks and appetizers and a little Super Bowl Football playing in the ocean view bar! Perfection!!! Beau photographed the group and I shot video. It was awesome for all the friends to have some chill time before the ceremony. The bouquets were beautiful, there were tons of flowers! There was a professional harpist playing for the ceremony. The setting was so stunning on the yard at Merriman’s overlooking Kapalua Beach and Molokai Island in the distance. The ceremony setting was like a dream!

Beau photographed all of the group and the Bride and Groom on the Beach… then we were all on to The Hula Grill in Ka'anapali Maui. It was the perfect place to celebrate the wedding with a view of the ocean and the sunset. The original plan was to follow the ceremony with a Luau on Monday, but because of the rain we still enjoyed a fabulous Luau on Wednesday at the Westin. It was the best reception I have ever experienced!! Everyone should experience a Luau while in Hawaii. The Wailele Polynesian Luau really stood out with the fire dancers! Thank you Justina & Travis for the incredible evening at the Luau!!!

We also loved spending the extra time in Maui with you! From cliff jumping in Kapalua, to dinner at Captain Jack’s Pirate Bar in Lahaina, and going to see the Turtles at Ho'okipa Beach, and pulling over to enjoy the sunset on a random Beach outside of Lahaina. We also love the stories of the Catamaran Adventure that you had! What an epic destination wedding experience that you created for all! Thank you so much Justina and Travis for having our family along for the wild ride!! ~Bethany
