The weather in Southern Minnesota was finally turning for the better after the long winter, and just in time because today was Mollie and Alex's once in a lifetime day. They had chosen to get ready in style, a huge mansion set in a posh Native American reservation certainly wasn't what we were expecting but the atmosphere was perfect for this beautiful bride and her handsome groom! The car holding our bride rolled up to the house, Mollie exited the car with a beaming smile on her face, the day was finally here!
As we photographed Mollie and Alex preparing for the big day, the time had arrived for their sweet first moment. This intimate group enjoyed a family lunch, where both families personalties mixed perfectly to make a hilarious, fun atmosphere. In a Schlueter/ Wilcox convoy we all arrived at the ceremony location, and escaped immediately to the lower floor to hide the special couple from the eyes of guests. After the wedding ceremony we arrived at the reception. The venue was adorable downtown location, and the the newly married couple seemed ready to let loose and have a good time. Everyone certainly did have a good time, everywhere you looked people were dancing, laughing and enjoying the evening. The DJ was none other than Tom Dorset, and he certainly did an excellent job to make the atmosphere fun!
As we exited for the night, we knew this couple was truly exceptional, and that their love for each other was remarkable. We're so thankful we were able to photograph this wedding, and were able to get to know Mollie and Alex, and their beautiful families even better! ~Natalee
