I don’t think we have seen a prettier October day for a wedding yet! The sun was such a beautiful golden color and the winter chill hadn’t yet arrived. We pulled up to the home where Andrew was getting ready, surrounded by his groomsmen, and Elsa’s German Grandma and Grandpa! It was certainly a lively group, and they were having a great time! From there we ventured to where Elsa was with her bridesmaids, all donning beautiful purple gowns. We happened upon Elsa laying on the couch, enjoying a neck massage! Soon she was up, and slipped into her beautiful cream lace gown. With the stunning open back, and sprigs of little white flowers in her blonde hair, she looked beautiful! We led her outside, for her and Andrew’s first moment. You could see the nerves melt away when she saw Andrew, they kissed and hugged...ready for this wonderful day!
Across the street was a beautiful field, the grass turned gold from the dry autumn, and that was where we captured the family images! It was perfect with beautiful lighting and backdrop. After the family images we all piled into cars and drove downtown for a couple of drinks. Beau escaped with the bride and groom to ramble around the alleyways, where the gardens and brick buildings made for beautiful backdrops! The wedding party came out soon after and Beau photographed some hilarious wedding party shots in the middle of the street! It was time to drive off to the Kingdom Hall, the wedding ceremony was going to begin soon! People started filtering into the building and the music soon began. Elsa and Andrew recited their vows, exchanged rings, and it ended with a kiss!
Everyone was excited to head off to the Weisman Art Museum for the reception! The steel building glittered in the sunlight, a perfect location for a beautiful reception. As we walked in, sunlight poured in through the tall windows. Everything was airy and carefree. After a delicious dinner catered by D'Amico and Sons Beau travelled around the museum with the newly married couple, capturing images with the artwork. This couple is so much fun and the images turned out amazing! Tony from Showtime Entertainment started the dance, Elsa and her father sharing a dance, and soon the rest of the girls joined in. Andrew shared a dance with his mother, and then Elsa and Andrew were swirling around the dance floor enjoying their first dance as husband and wife. It was a beautiful evening - we know these two are perfect for each other! ~ Natalee
