Whitney and Lane had a fabulous wedding day and the celebration was amazing at the fabulous Minneapolis venue, International Market Square!! Beau had never photographed a wedding here before and it was so much fun!!!  Whitney and Lane and their families are great friends of ours.  Beau and I had a blast capturing the emotions of our good friends!  I always get emotional during the father-daughter and the mother-son dances and my tears were streaming for these... they were happy tears, but it makes me feel like my kids will grow up so fast!!! As a parent, I can really see what a bitter-sweet day this would be to let your child go... and Whitney and Lane are a great couple who love each-other very much and Lane will take good care of Whitney for sure.  What an emotional day!  First we went to the Zimmerman's beautiful home to photograph Lane and his guys... then we went off to photograph Whitney getting ready... handstands for this gymnast bride and all the love from her parents and her sister who came from Germany for her sister's wedding.  Daddy's first look was very sweet... and then Lane had his first look of his bride.  We stopped at a cool golf course hillside with the dramatic blue sky with billowy clouds for a quick pic... then off to the ceremony and the Chanhassen Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses... Beau photographed the formals and some family too.  We are so happy that the grandmother of the bride was here with her loving family... this week she fell asleep in death. How precious it is to have a family photo with this sweet little lady.   After the bride and groom tied the knot, they popped into their limo with their bridal party and we went to the Guthrie theater on this windy day!  The Bridal party enjoyed some refreshments at the bar and cooled off because it was hot outside, but cool inside and it was a great place to take some bridal party pictures!  This bridal party is beautiful and so much fun!!!   Then we went to the International Market Square for the reception venue!  This venue had fabulous light during the day, and the ambiance was so romantic at night!  The DJ was amazing and great with the crowd!!  The grand march and entrance of the bridal party was so much fun, all the guests joined the DJ to cheer them on and applaud the bride and groom as they entered with their first dance.  The meal was excellent and the entire experience was very elegant. For some dinner entertainment, the sister of the bride (Morgan) had a German game to play with the guests.  Morgan and her husband Oliver had their traditional German clothing on and they made the entire room bust out in laughter with this energetic German game.  There was never a dull moment this day.  After the father-daughter dance was the mother-son dance.  My friend Heidi picked "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart for her mother-son dance... what a great song!!  The dance floor was packed for the rest of the night and all the guest were having a great time celebration the newlyweds!!  We are so happy for Whitney and Lane!!!  ~Bethany
